Decoding early-life UVA and skincare additive interactions driving melanoma risk and progression in young adults
PhotoMel is a European research project investigating how early-life UVA exposure and certain skincare ingredients may interact to change the skin and increase the risk of melanoma and its early progression in young adults. The project aims to better understand these mechanisms and identify biomarkers that could eventually improve melanoma prevention, risk assessment and personalised treatment.
